6 types of personalities in the office: What can you expect from them?
The one who said that working with people is difficult, but even more beautiful, may not have even realized how much truth lies in his statement. This can be confirmed by any manager who manages a group of people, as well as an office worker who lives in the space together with colleagues. So let's look at what types of people you can meet at work.

People in leadership know very well that the work environment must be relaxed and friendly. In order to increase productivity, the 13th salary or rest zone is no longer enough. Relationships between colleagues and with management should also not be strained. But how about when everyone is different, has their own head and different patterns of behavior? Simply. Just know the type of his personality.

We do not have to introduce the Hippocratic division of personalities to anyone. He determined temperaments according to which body fluid most influences their decisions and behavior. Sanguine (blood), choleric (bile), phlegmatic (mucus) and melancholic (black bile). You can find out whether you are an introvert or an extrovert again thanks to Carl Jung. He determined two types of characters according to their relationship to the external environment.
Types of personalities in the work environment
What personality is hidden within you can affect your career. How do you deal with various situations, how do you have access to the assigned tasks, whether you prefer to work in an open office or in seclusion, and whether you can sell yourself, for example, during an interview.

So how do individual temperaments behave at work?
Sangvinik. He is active, sociable and quickly enthusiastic about new things. He also performs extra tasks in the work and is proactive in solving problems. As it is both social and eloquent, you can expect colleagues to be staying around it during the lunch break. It can easily adapt to new conditions. But beware, you have to keep the sanguins a little grounded and coordinate enough. In addition, they have trouble meeting deadlines.

Choleric. If you are looking for a person in a leadership position, a born leader who can deal with problems, bet on cholerics. He can make quick and correct decisions, especially in crisis situations. Choleric responds well to challenges and is competitive. However, his explosive nature must be taken into account, he often has trouble keeping his emotions in check. As a leader, he gives results, but he can also be very unpleasant, dominant and has high demands on his subordinates.

Phlegmatic. A peacemaker and a non-conflicting type both in private and in the workplace. He is characterized by a calm nature and choleric would probably have a heart attack. However, others like to work with him, because he can also be empathetic. However, as a leader, he does not work very well, because he is often too "soft" and cannot handle change.
Melancholic. He will prove to be a great manager in a leading position who clings to perfectionism. He works at 110%, has high demands on himself and others and is a great detailist. However, if you try to blame him, he won't tolerate it very well. He is very unfriendly with criticism.Introvertedprogrammers, extroverted traders
According to Jung's theory, we are all introverts and extroverts at the same time. We differ only in the ratio between them. While the above-mentioned personality types are more about innate predispositions, being an introvert or an extrovert reflects a preference for the way you work.

Introverts prefer to work in seclusion, while extroverts need the company of colleagues around them. Many have introverts categorized as weak speakers or leaders. However, the opposite is true, there are no worse extroverts. Evidence can also be personalities such as Bill Gates or Mark Zuckerberg, who are among the introverts.

It is better to let Introverta work independently, only then will you ensure its excellent results. Brainstorming and meetings will again be initiated mostly by some extroverts who need interaction in their work. Introverts are used as scientists, authors, graphic artists, programmers, while extroverts are good business people, teachers, people working in a marketing agency or even actors and singers.

Finally, it should be noted that the temperament of all of us is created by two or up to three personality types. What we can advise you is - observe and get to know your colleagues or subordinates. Only in this way will you achieve harmony and correct relationships in the workplace. And ultimately the results.
